  • Overview on the ease of provisioning in public cloud. Learn how to write and run Ansible Playbooks
  • Creation of Ansible playbooks without requiring you to be a programmer- no coding skills required!
  • Deploying applications at scale using Ansible.
  • Assigning and managing System Roles for Red Hat Enterprise Linux Environment.
  • Red Hat Insights integration - analytics for your own Operating System on hacks, broken links, and more.

Skill Gain: 

This workshop will teach you how to deploy and manage applications at scale based on your needs, assign and manage roles for a RHEL environment, and give you visibility into the Insights Integration analytics tool.

#4 - Security Automation / Red Hat Ansible

The workshop is intended as an introductory course for Ansible Security Automation designed for people who want to learn how Ansible can be leveraged in security environments.

 

Agenda:

  • Introduction to Ansible Security Automation.
  • How Ansible works for Security Automation.
  • Understanding Modules, Tasks and Playbooks
  • Using Ansible with Various security tools such as, SIEM QRadar, IDS Snort, Firewall Check Point NGFW

 

Skill Gain: 

Through this workshop you can use Ansible to orchestrate three investigation and response activities involving multiple security tools:

  • An enterprise firewall [CheckPoint Next Generation Firewall]
  • An intrusion detection system [Snort]
  • A SIEM [Splunk Enterprise Security]
